Hrid Bačvica is an advanced dive site in Croatia's Central Adriatic in the Kornati area, centered around a rocky reef that drops into deeper water. The site features impressive wall sections with overhangs and small caverns that shelter larger marine life including conger eels, lobsters, and groupers. The vertical surfaces host dense gorgonian colonies and colorful sponge gardens. Currents around the rock attract schooling fish including dentex and amberjack, while the exceptional clarity of the Kornati waters makes for outstanding visibility on this dramatic reef dive.
