Samograd is an advanced cave dive site in Croatia's Central Adriatic in the Kornati area, featuring an underwater cave system carved into the limestone coastline. The cave entrance leads into chambers with impressive geological formations including stalactites from a time when the cave was above sea level. Shrimp, lobsters, and small crustaceans inhabit the darker zones, while the entrance hosts rich Mediterranean marine growth. Proper cave diving training is essential, as the multi-chamber system offers a fascinating underground exploration through thousands of years of geological history.
