Gili Meno Slope is an advanced dive site along the western coast of Gili Meno, where a steep reef slope drops beyond recreational limits through some of the healthiest coral formations in the Gili Islands. The slope features massive barrel sponges, impressive table coral formations, and dense fields of branching Acropora that support an extraordinary biomass of reef fish. The site is particularly known for its turtle population—multiple green and hawksbill turtles are encountered on virtually every dive, often resting on coral ledges or gliding along the slope. Whitetip reef sharks patrol the deeper sections, and occasional blacktip reef sharks cruise the shallows. The western exposure can produce currents that intensify unpredictably, requiring divers to be comfortable with changing conditions. Gili Meno Slope showcases the quieter, more pristine side of the Gili Islands, where the reef quality matches or exceeds more famous Indonesian destinations.
