Falco Cave

Falco Cave is an advanced cave dive near Capo Galera off Alghero, where a dramatic entrance leads into spacious chambers at 18 meters depth. The cave is named after the peregrine falcons that nest on the cliff above. Inside, ancient stalactites and flowstone formations are illuminated by torchlight, creating a magical subterranean atmosphere. Lobsters and encrusting red sponges inhabit the cave walls, while the exit opens onto a vibrant Mediterranean reef. Part of the extraordinary Capo Galera cave complex that makes Alghero one of the Mediterranean's top cave diving destinations.
