Pozzo Cave is an advanced cave dive near Capo Galera off Alghero, featuring a vertical shaft — the 'well' that gives it its name — descending through the limestone into a submerged chamber at 17 meters. The shaft allows dramatic shafts of sunlight to penetrate deep into the cave, creating extraordinary blue light effects. The chamber hosts lobsters, red shrimp, and encrusting organisms, while the rocky reef outside offers vibrant Mediterranean fish life. One of Alghero's most photogenic cave dives, where the interplay of light and geology creates truly magical underwater moments.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
