
Punta Penne is an intermediate dive near Brindisi in Puglia, where a natural rocky point extends into the southern Adriatic Sea reaching 24 meters. The limestone reef features walls decorated with Mediterranean sponges, small gorgonians, and dense colonies of bryozoans. Sea bream, wrasse, and damselfish populate the shallower sections, while the deeper areas attract grouper and occasional barracuda. The Torre Guaceto Marine Reserve nearby influences the site's biodiversity positively. A well-rounded intermediate dive offering varied topography and reliable marine encounters along Puglia's historically rich Brindisi coastline.
