No Name is an intermediate dive site off the northwestern coast of Koh Tao in the Gulf of Thailand, a reef formation reaching twenty-six meters depth that has retained its enigmatic name despite becoming one of the island's well-established dive sites. The depth and current exposure create conditions suited to intermediate divers seeking reef exploration beyond the beginner-friendly bays. The underwater terrain features granite formations and coral-covered reef at depths that provide access to marine communities not found at shallower sites. The twenty-six meter maximum and potential for current require solid buoyancy control and gas management. Coral growth is healthy, with hard and soft corals supporting a productive reef ecosystem. Fish life is notably more diverse at this depth, with schools of trevally and barracuda joining the regular reef species. Groupers of good size inhabit the deeper overhangs, and the open-water exposure means pelagic encounters are possible. The combination of depth and current creates dynamic diving conditions. No Name proves that Koh Tao's unnamed or simply named sites can deliver diving quality equal to their more famous neighbors. The combination of depth, diverse marine life, and the adventure of exploring a less-celebrated site makes it a rewarding choice for intermediate divers.
