Tiger Wall is a scenic and beginner-accessible reef dive in the Hon Mun area of Nha Trang Bay — a wall or steeply sloping reef formation whose name suggests the bold, striped visual character of the corals and marine life that colonize its vertical faces. Wall diving in Nha Trang's bay zone offers a different experience from the horizontal reef exploration of the flatter sites: moving along a vertical reef face reveals the zonation of coral and invertebrate life at different depths, with shallow-water branching corals giving way to wire corals, gorgonian sea fans, and encrusting sponges as depth increases. Tiger Wall's vertical reef structure provides particularly good habitat for gorgonian sea fans, which extend perpendicular to the prevailing current to maximize their filter-feeding efficiency — creating the dramatic fan-like formations that make wall diving visually distinctive. The wall's overhangs and crevices shelter the critters that define the Hon Mun diving experience: moray eels in their characteristic crevice positions, clusters of soldierfish and squirrelfish in the shaded recesses, and the occasional sleeping parrotfish in its mucus cocoon. The fish community along the wall includes butterflyfish pairs working the coral surface, chromis in shimmering formations above the reef, and grouper lurking at structural features. The beginner difficulty rating reflects the protected bay location and moderate depth of the site, though the wall character means vertical control is particularly important for protecting the encrusting coral and sponge growth on the rock faces. Tiger Wall is a visually distinctive complement to the flatter reef sites that dominate many Nha Trang Bay dive itineraries.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
