Curtin Artificial Reef in Moreton Bay is an advanced dive site created from the deliberately scuttled HMAS Brisbane destroyer in 2005. Resting at 32 meters depth, this 133-meter-long warship has transformed into a thriving artificial reef teeming with marine life. Divers can penetrate the ship's corridors and explore multiple decks now colonized by hard and soft corals, sponges, and schools of fish. Resident species include wobbegong sharks, lionfish, and large groupers.
