
Petaj is an intermediate dive site at Milln Reef on the outer Great Barrier Reef near Cairns. Reaching 25 meters depth, this reef section features a beautiful coral slope with outstanding diversity of hard corals including massive brain corals, delicate table corals, and dense staghorn thickets. The site is home to a healthy population of anemonefish, butterflyfish, and angelfish, with regular sightings of sea turtles and whitetip reef sharks resting on sandy ledges.
