
Stingray Bay is a sheltered beginner-friendly dive site near Warrnambool on Victoria's Shipwreck Coast. This shallow bay with a maximum depth of 7 meters offers calm conditions protected from prevailing swells. As the name suggests, various ray species are commonly spotted here, along with cuttlefish, sea stars, and juvenile fish using the bay as a nursery. The sandy bottom with scattered rocky reef patches makes it an excellent site for new divers and macro photography.
