Warrnambool Breakwater, inside

The inside of Warrnambool Breakwater provides a sheltered beginner-friendly dive site on Victoria's southwest coast. Protected from ocean swells by the massive stone breakwater, this site offers calm conditions with a maximum depth of 8 meters. The breakwater walls have become colonized by sponges, ascidians, and encrusting organisms, creating a rich habitat for seahorses, nudibranchs, and various crustaceans. It's a popular training site and excellent for night dives.
