Gallow's Point is an intermediate dive site along the Belize Barrier Reef reaching 21 meters, named for the old gallows that once stood on the nearby shore during colonial times. The reef here features a series of spur-and-groove formations with sandy channels running perpendicular to the wall. Each spur is crowned with healthy hard corals and populated by territorial damselfish, while the grooves shelter nurse sharks and southern stingrays. The wall edge offers views into the deep blue where barracuda hover and reef sharks patrol. A historically intriguing site with solid marine encounters at a comfortable intermediate depth.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
