Chris's Chimney at Lighthouse Reef is a beginner-friendly dive featuring a distinctive vertical swim-through that cuts through a coral spur from top to bottom like a chimney. Divers descend through the narrow opening into a wider chamber below, emerging on the wall side surrounded by colorful sponges and sea fans. The chimney walls are encrusted with tubastrea cup corals and bright orange encrusting sponges. Outside, the gentle reef slope hosts schools of yellowtail snappers and pairs of queen angelfish. The manageable depth and unique topography make this a memorable dive for all skill levels.
