Peter's Peaks at Turneffe Islands is an intermediate dive centered on a series of dramatic coral pinnacles that rise from the wall like underwater mountain peaks. The tallest pinnacles reach from 25 meters to within 8 meters of the surface, their sides covered with colorful soft corals, sea whips, and large sea fans that wave in the current. Each peak serves as a gathering point for schooling fish, with dense clouds of creole wrasse and chromis swirling around the summits. The channels between peaks often harbor nurse sharks and green moray eels. The site's unique vertical relief creates an exciting multi-level dive experience.
