Turtle Ridge at Turneffe Islands is an intermediate dive along a prominent reef ridge that serves as a major highway for hawksbill and green sea turtles. The ridge rises from 18 to 8 meters with excellent hard coral coverage, including healthy elkhorn coral colonies along the crest. Multiple turtles can often be seen on a single dive, resting under overhangs or actively feeding on sponges. The ridge's eastern exposure brings gentle currents that support dense populations of sea fans and soft corals along the flanks. Barracuda and horse-eye jacks patrol the ridge top, adding excitement to this turtle-focused dive.
