Rendez-vous Point at Turneffe Islands is an advanced wall dive at a prominent headland where two reef walls meet, creating a convergence zone that funnels current and marine life. The point is a natural gathering spot for large pelagics — schools of jacks, permits, and occasionally tarpon mass at the junction where nutrient-rich currents collide. The wall drops from 12 to beyond 40 meters with dense gorgonian coverage and impressive sponge formations. Caribbean reef sharks and bull sharks patrol the deep wall edge. The exposed position demands respect for current conditions but delivers spectacular encounters for experienced divers.
