Pastizal de Punta Falsa is an advanced deep dive to 45 meters near Valdivia in southern Chile. This exposed Pacific site features a dramatic underwater meadow of giant kelp extending from the surface into the depths, creating a cathedral-like forest effect. Below the kelp canopy, the rocky reef drops steeply, revealing cold-water coral communities and large predatory fish at depth. The significant depth, strong southern Pacific currents, and cold temperatures demand technical diving preparation, but the towering kelp forests and pristine deep-water ecosystems make this one of southern Chile's most impressive dive sites.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
