Cantil de Santa Catalina

Cantil de Santa Catalina is an advanced deep dive to 60 meters along the wall separating Providencia from Santa Catalina Island. This dramatic vertical wall dive follows the channel between the two islands, where the reef face drops away into deep water. The wall is adorned with dense black coral forests, massive sponge formations, and colorful encrusting organisms. Strong tidal currents flowing through the channel attract large pelagic species including eagle rays and reef sharks. The unique geological setting between two islands and exceptional marine biodiversity make this a signature deep dive of the Providencia archipelago.
