
Punta Quepos is a beginner-friendly dive site near the town of Quepos on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast, close to Manuel Antonio National Park. This rocky headland creates a natural reef environment where volcanic boulders and rock formations attract diverse Pacific marine life. The site hosts pufferfish, moray eels, and schools of snappers, while octopuses and nudibranchs are common finds in the rocky crevices. Seasonal visitors include manta rays and whale sharks during the plankton-rich months.
