Cueva Azul (Blue Cave) is an advanced dive at Isla de la Juventud in Cuba. This dramatic site features an underwater cave system where sunlight filters through openings in the rock ceiling, creating stunning blue light effects that give the cave its name. The cave walls are covered with sponges and encrusting organisms, while large tarpon and silversides shelter in the cavern's protected waters. Outside the cave, the surrounding reef hosts healthy coral gardens with groupers, snappers, and barracuda. The cave penetration element requires advanced training and equipment, but Cueva Azul rewards with one of the most visually spectacular dive experiences in the Caribbean.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
