Cueva del Ensueno

Cueva del Ensueño (Dream Cave) is an advanced dive at Isla de la Juventud in Cuba. This spectacular cave system features multiple chambers with dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations that formed when the cave was above sea level during past ice ages. Sunlight enters through natural skylights, creating ethereal blue light beams that illuminate the crystal-clear water inside the cavern. Large tarpon and silversides inhabit the cave, while the surrounding reef hosts healthy coral gardens with groupers and snappers. The cave penetration requires advanced certification and proper equipment, but Cueva del Ensueño is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cave dives in the Caribbean.
