The Fishboat is an advanced wreck dive in the Trinidad-Cienfuegos area on Cuba's southern coast. This site features a sunken fishing vessel that has become a thriving artificial reef on the Caribbean seabed. The wreck's metal framework is now covered with coral growth and sponges, providing shelter for groupers, moray eels, and lobsters inside the hull. Schools of snappers and jacks circle the wreck, while barracuda patrol above. The wreck sits at depth in current-exposed waters, requiring advanced diving skills. The Fishboat offers an interesting combination of wreck penetration and reef diving in the less-explored waters off Cuba's southern coast.
