Túnel Azul (Blue Tunnel) is an intermediate dive near Trinidad on Cuba's southern coast. This site features an underwater tunnel formation in the reef where sunlight filters through openings to create mesmerizing blue light effects in the passage. The tunnel walls are covered with sponges and small corals, while glassy sweepers and silversides school in the lighter sections. Beyond the tunnel, the reef features healthy coral gardens typical of Cuba's south coast with diverse tropical fish populations. The moderate depth and manageable tunnel navigation make Túnel Azul an exciting intermediate dive that offers a taste of cavern diving without requiring advanced cave certification.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
