Barracuda Point is an advanced shore dive to 32 meters in Curaçao. True to its name, this site is known for encounters with large barracuda that patrol the current-swept reef point. The exposed position attracts stronger currents than typical Curaçao sites, bringing nutrient-rich water and larger marine species. The reef wall features healthy coral growth with large sponges and gorgonians, while the point attracts schools of jacks and occasional eagle rays. The combination of current, depth, and exposed position demands advanced skills, but Barracuda Point delivers more dynamic diving conditions and bigger marine encounters than most shore dives on the island.
