Mushroom Forest is a beginner-friendly shore dive in Curaçao and one of the island's most iconic sites. Named for its distinctive mushroom-shaped coral formations created by erosion of the limestone reef, these unique structures form a surreal underwater forest. The mushroom pillars are covered with sponges and small corals, while tropical fish weave between them. Sea turtles, moray eels, and octopuses inhabit the area, and the shallow, calm waters provide excellent conditions for photography. Mushroom Forest is a must-dive site in Curaçao, offering a one-of-a-kind underwater landscape found nowhere else in the Caribbean.
