Saba is an advanced shore dive in Curaçao, named after a distinctive rock formation rather than the nearby island. This site features a steep reef slope dropping quickly to significant depth, with the wall covered in impressive coral growth including large barrel sponges, black coral, and dense gorgonian fields. The deeper sections attract larger marine species with groupers, barracuda, and occasional reef sharks patrolling the wall edge. Eagle rays glide past in the blue water. The rapid depth gain and exposed conditions demand advanced skills, but Saba offers some of the most dramatic deep wall scenery on Curaçao's leeward coast.
