
Islote Horno de Pan is a beginner-friendly dive around a small rocky islet off Ecuador's coast near Puerto LĂłpez. The islet's underwater walls are covered in colorful hydroids and small corals, attracting schools of striped grunts and Cortez rainbow wrasse. Sea lions occasionally visit the site, providing playful encounters. The sheltered eastern side offers calm conditions while the exposed western face sees more current and larger fish. It's a versatile site suitable for various skill levels.
