Parcela Marina - Salango

Parcela Marina - Salango is a beginner-friendly dive site off the coast of Salango in Ecuador's Machalilla National Park. The site features a rocky reef teeming with Pacific marine life, including Panamic green moray eels, king angelfish, and schools of Pacific creolefish. During the warm season, manta rays and whale sharks may pass through. The nutrient-rich Humboldt Current brings cold upwellings that support an exceptionally productive marine ecosystem unique to the eastern Pacific.
