Tres Rocas is a beginner-friendly dive at Isla de la Plata, Ecuador, centered on three prominent volcanic rock formations rising from the seabed. Each rock supports its own thriving ecosystem of gorgonians, cup corals, and encrusting organisms. Schools of Pacific creolefish and yellowtail grunts swirl between the formations, while the sandy gaps reveal starfish and sea cucumbers. The site's easy navigation and moderate conditions make it a favorite stop on Isla de la Plata dive itineraries.
