
Small Gubal is a beginner-friendly dive site near Gubal Island in the Strait of Gubal, Egypt's Red Sea. The small reef formation offers a compact but diverse diving experience with excellent coral health. Hard coral gardens dominate the shallow sections, while soft corals and gorgonians adorn the deeper edges. Resident turtles, moray eels, and Napoleon wrasse provide reliable encounters. The sheltered position and moderate size make it ideal for a relaxed second dive, with the convenience of being close to several famous wreck sites in the area.
