Woodhouse Reef

Woodhouse Reef is an advanced drift dive at the second reef from the north in the Strait of Tiran, Egypt's Red Sea. The elongated reef creates a long wall perfect for exhilarating drift diving in strong currents. The exposed eastern wall is famous for shark encounters, with hammerheads, grey reef sharks, and silvertip sharks regularly cruising the drop-off. Massive gorgonian fans and soft coral trees adorn the wall. Woodhouse combines the adrenaline of current diving with consistently impressive big animal sightings.
