Hole in the Wall and Punta de la Monja is an advanced dive site in the El Cabrón marine reserve near Arinaga, Gran Canaria, featuring a dramatic natural archway through the volcanic rock. Divers swim through the namesake hole in the wall, emerging on the other side to a rich seascape of pinnacles, overhangs, and gullies. The site is home to large groupers, black moray eels, and dense schools of grunts sheltering under the overhangs, while the exposed outer wall attracts pelagic species including barracuda and amberjack. The combination of dramatic topography and the marine reserve's exceptional biodiversity makes this one of Gran Canaria's most rewarding dives for experienced divers.
