
La Convergencia-Roca Madre is a fascinating dive site near Aguadulce in AlmerĂa, where two distinct reef systems converge at a prominent mother rock formation. This beginner-friendly site features the meeting point of volcanic rock ridges, creating a diverse underwater landscape with overhangs, small caves, and swim-throughs. The convergence zone concentrates marine life, attracting groupers, large schools of bream, and hunting barracuda. Octopuses and moray eels inhabit the many crevices, while the rock surfaces are decorated with sponges, tube worms, and encrusting algae. The unique geological formation and its concentrated biodiversity make this site a standout among AlmerĂa's dive spots.
