Emily Flying Boat is an intermediate wreck dive in Truk Lagoon (Chuuk), Micronesia, featuring the remains of a Japanese Kawanishi H8K 'Emily' flying boat — one of the largest seaplanes of World War II. The massive aircraft, with its 38-metre wingspan, rests on the lagoon floor in remarkably good condition. The four-engine flying boat's hull, wings, and tail section are all identifiable, draped in soft corals and surrounded by tropical reef fish. The Emily is one of the rarest WWII wrecks in Truk Lagoon, as very few of these aircraft survive anywhere in the world. An extraordinary combination of aviation history, marine archaeology, and tropical diving.
