Laura Marie Wreck is an intermediate wreck dive in Yap, Micronesia, featuring a more modern vessel that provides a contrast to the WWII wrecks found elsewhere in Micronesia. The wreck sits in moderate depths accessible to experienced recreational divers, with the hull and superstructure largely intact. Coral colonization is progressing across the metal surfaces, with soft corals and sponges establishing themselves. The wreck has become a gathering point for reef fish, and larger predators including reef sharks are often seen in the vicinity. The warm, clear Yap waters provide excellent visibility for wreck photography. A worthwhile alternative dive between Yap's famous manta ray channel dives.
