Nest Ends Gully is a shore dive at St Abbs Head in the Scottish Borders, located adjacent to the more well-known Cathedral Rock area. This rocky gully system cuts through the volcanic headland, creating a sheltered underwater channel lined with kelp forests and colorful invertebrate communities. Dahlia anemones, dead men's fingers, and plumose anemones cover the gully walls, while lobsters and edible crabs occupy the deeper crevices. The site offers advanced divers a rewarding exploration of the volcanic geology that makes St Abbs one of Scotland's premier dive locations. Navigation requires careful planning as the gully system can be complex, and swell conditions at the entry point must be assessed.
