Le Snatchy is the newest wreck on the Port-Louis dive menu, a sailboat that went down in 2023 and sits upright on the sand at around 30 metres. The hull is still essentially intact and the colonisation is just starting to take hold, with gorgonian plumes already establishing on the rigging. Barracudas have begun to move around the mast and snapper schools are starting to use the superstructure as a reference point. A fascinating wreck to dive now and to watch evolve year-over-year. PADI Advanced Open Water with Deep specialty is the honest minimum.
