Hills at Sparti Island is an intermediate dive in the Onassis archipelago of the Ionian Sea, reaching 30 meters. Named for the rolling underwater hills and ridges that characterize the seabed around Sparti Island, this site offers a varied topography of rocky mounds separated by sandy channels. The hills are covered with sponges, algae, and small gorgonian fans, creating colourful habitats. Marine life is abundant in the pristine Ionian waters: groupers, moray eels, and scorpionfish on the rocky areas, with schools of bream and damselfish above. The undulating terrain makes for an engaging dive with constantly changing scenery. Accessed by boat from Lefkada or Nidri.
