SKORPIDI

Skorpidi is an advanced dive site around the small islet of Skorpidi near Skorpios in the Onassis archipelago, reaching 40 meters. This exposed rocky islet creates dramatic underwater terrain with sheer walls, deep overhangs, and powerful currents. The current-swept environment attracts the best pelagic action in the Lefkada area: large schools of amberjack, barracuda, and dentex regularly cruise past. The walls are covered with dense gorgonian forests and the deepest sections reveal impressive Mediterranean coral growth. Massive groupers guard the caves at depth. The combination of depth, current exposure, and remote location makes Skorpidi one of the most challenging and rewarding dives in the Ionian Sea.
