Kastri is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Dodecanese near Astypalaia, reaching 10 meters around a scenic rocky coastline. The shallow reef features a mix of boulders and sandy channels where octopuses, cuttlefish, and small wrasse are commonly encountered. The site takes its name from a nearby castle ruin, adding atmospheric context to the dive. Warm, clear waters and a gentle slope make Kastri an ideal first dive in this less-visited corner of the Dodecanese archipelago.
