Skala is an intermediate dive site in the Dodecanese descending to 30 meters over a sloping reef landscape. The site features wide rocky terraces interspersed with sandy channels where stingrays rest and cuttlefish hunt. Posidonia meadows in the shallows transition to boulder fields deeper down, creating diverse habitats for octopuses, nudibranchs, and schools of saddled bream. The gradual depth profile and typically mild currents make Skala an excellent choice for divers progressing beyond beginner level.
