Panagia is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Cyclades islands of Greece, near the coordinates suggesting the Paros-Naxos area. Named after the Virgin Mary chapel typically found near the shore, this sheltered site offers easy access to a gentle reef with scattered rocks and sandy patches. The crystal-clear Cycladic waters provide outstanding visibility, often exceeding 30 meters. Marine life includes colourful wrasse, damselfish, octopus, and cuttlefish, along with the occasional sea turtle passing through. The white-sand bottom reflects light beautifully, creating a luminous underwater environment. The calm conditions and scenic Cycladic backdrop make it a perfect introduction to Aegean diving.
