Samos Heart Rock is an advanced dive site off the island of Samos in the North Aegean, named for a distinctive heart-shaped rock formation visible underwater. This offshore pinnacle rises from depth, with steep walls and dramatic overhangs that create a complex three-dimensional diving environment. The rock is covered with gorgonian fans, dense sponge gardens, and colourful encrusting organisms. Strong currents regularly sweep the pinnacle, attracting schools of amberjack, barracuda, and the occasional tuna. Large groupers and lobsters inhabit the deeper caves and ledges. The combination of challenging conditions, unique geology, and abundant pelagic life makes Heart Rock one of the most sought-after dives in the Samos area.
