Catamaran is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Peloponnese region of Greece, named after a sunken catamaran that now serves as a small artificial reef. The vessel rests at accessible depth on a sandy bottom, making it an easy and exciting introduction to wreck diving for new divers. The catamaran's twin hulls and deck structure provide shelter for schools of damselfish, blennies, and small groupers. Octopus frequently hide under the hulls, and moray eels have taken residence in the engine compartments. The surrounding sandy area features Posidonia beds with cuttlefish and pipefish. The compact wreck can be explored in a single dive with plenty of air to spare.
