The underwater reef features impressive walls, overhangs, and pinnacles covered in vibrant gorgonians, sponges, and soft corals. The site's position in the southern Adriatic supports an exceptional variety of fish species including groupers, dentex, amberjack, and occasional Mediterranean barracuda. The combination of dramatic topography, rich biodiversity, and the famously clear Dubrovnik waters makes Mala Afrika one of Croatia's most acclaimed advanced dive sites.
