Lau Lau Reef is a beginner-friendly dive site in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, offering an accessible introduction to the world's most biodiverse marine ecosystem. The shallow coral reef features an incredible density of hard coral species and reef fish, with more species visible in a single dive than many divers see in a lifetime. Anemonefish, anthias, and damselfish swarm the healthy coral gardens, while wobbegong sharks rest under table corals. The calm conditions and shallow depth make it perfect for new divers, though even experienced divers are astonished by the sheer biodiversity on display.
