Shark Point is an advanced dive site off Lombok, Indonesia, reaching 30 meters at an exposed reef point known for regular shark encounters. The site features a current-swept rocky reef where whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, and occasional hammerhead sharks patrol the deeper water. The reef itself hosts healthy hard coral gardens with schools of fusiliers, snappers, and sweetlips, while eagle rays glide past the point. Strong currents can make this dive challenging, but the reward is some of the best shark diving in the Lombok Strait, with the dramatic backdrop of Mount Rinjani visible from the surface.
