Tanjung Pramuka is a reef point dive on the eastern side of Pramuka Island in Jakarta's Thousand Islands, where mild currents sweep past the reef corner bringing nutrients and attracting concentrations of fish. The site features a coral slope descending from 5 to about 28 meters with a mix of hard and soft coral coverage. The point acts as a gathering zone for schools of fusiliers, snappers, and sweetlips, while larger residents including groupers and Napoleon wrasse cruise the deeper sections. Blue-spotted stingrays rest on sandy patches, and the reef supports a healthy macro population of nudibranchs and flatworms. The currents are generally manageable for intermediate divers, and the reef health benefits from its position within the Pulau Seribu Marine National Park. Tanjung Pramuka offers one of the more dynamic diving experiences in the Thousand Islands, with the current-driven fish action providing reliably engaging dives.
