Gililawa Bay is an intermediate dive site in Komodo National Park, offering a sheltered reef dive in a beautiful bay near Gili Lawa Darat island. The protected bay features a gentle coral slope with impressive hard coral diversity, including table corals, staghorn thickets, and massive Porites colonies. Green and hawksbill sea turtles are commonly encountered, along with reef sharks, sweetlips, and countless species of reef fish. The calm conditions make Gililawa Bay an excellent choice for night dives, when mandarin fish, Spanish dancers, and hunting cuttlefish emerge from hiding.
